The collaboration of Officina Italiana Design and the Ferretti Group has, as always, managed to create an incredible yacht that brings something new and revolutionary to the concept of Open yachts. The Riva 68 ‘Diable brings together exciting technological and design innovations that are complemented by traditional elements and details from the legendary Riva.
“Riva 68 ‘Diable is an irresistible temptation that every Riva owner and fan is impatient to give in. Design from the future, but at the same time a fantastic immersion in sophisticated classics from Riva, ”said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi.
One of the strengths of this yacht is the innovative hardtop. It allows shading of the center of the yacht, including the dining area and helm. Also, all technical elements are hidden in its design. As a result, this ingenious and versatile solution allows for protection and maximum comfort on board an open yacht. Another interesting feature of the functional design is the sunroof, which can be opened in two directions (forward and backward) for unrivaled sailing enjoyment.
The lower deck layout offers three cabins for six guests, set around an open space with a kitchen and dining area. The master suite is located in the wide central part, on the port side is a twin cabin with two separate beds and in the bow there is a VIP cabin.
With two engines as standard, a 1,550 hp MAN V12, the yacht will be able to develop 37 knots maximum and 33 cruising speeds, and with two optional MAN V12s with 1,650 hp each. – the maximum speed will be 40 knots, and the cruising speed will be 34.
To find out all the secrets and admire all the design solutions, the Riva 68 ‘Diable will officially be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2021, after which it will go to the Genoa Boat Show in Italy.
